with Anya Achtenberg

Taught for the Transformative Language Arts Network

FOR FICTION AND MEMOIR WRITERS, POETS, AND OTHERS, ACROSS THE GENRES.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you want to greatly expand your creative writing craft, whether in poetry or prose, fiction or creative nonfiction; and expand your creativity and your “associative web”, AND bring your deepest concerns for justice and peace FULLY into your writing in a way that deepens the power and beauty of your writing — this course is it.
Taught for writers organizations and large yearly conferences, at overcoming racism conferences, in faith communities, university honors program and in colleges for working adults, for large women’s groups, and a marvelous retreat center for bringing together the spiritual and the political (ah, Leaven Center — 8 summers…some with Demetria Martinez co-teaching my workshop) and in all kinds of settings privately… , but I have NEVER taught this ONLINE before now.
I am writing what I have developed over 20 years, and over 20 years I have seen extraordinary results in the work of writers at all levels of writing experience across the genres, and across an extraordinary range of life experiences.
Take a look at the course description on the Transformative Language Arts Network’s website.
Take the course. It’s rich and will support and expand your writing for much longer than 6 weeks, and do it in a way that informs and is informed by your passionate love of justice, your anger and your deep love for the world.
